TinyMCE Issues

Hi all,

I have a issues with TinyMCE .i.e, when i write some text in editor, and when i click on Edit HTML source button i am getting all the text in between paragraph tags. This happes for each an every new line. I have attached text file to show an example.

Is there any way so that i should not get those tags?

I do not recall correctly, but there was some setting which converts an <enter> into a new line with <p> tag. I guess there has been upgrade in tinymce too, you should check the release notes as well as the moxiecode website.

There is a place in the source code to disable or enable the <p> wrapper. Look for "forced_root_block" in tiny_mce_src.js and it should have value p, change 'p' to '' and reload your DCT. you might have to clean your browser cache to download updated tinymce js code.

i did changed the values also as show below...

forced_root_block : ' ',
force_p_newlines : 0,

i cleared the cache too.. Still i am getting same problem.

which file did you change? provide full path.
I have done this a while back, so there might more things to change.

I have cleared all the browsing cache once again and i tried it. It is working fine.
