HTML regeneration doesn't reflect changes

Hi,

i'm facing on a cache problem (I guess).

When a user change something in a DCR and regenerate the html rendition the changes are not updated and displayed in the .html file.

We are using TeamSite 7.3 on Windows 2003 Server- IIS

Anyone have experienced this kind of issue?

Check the generated outputfile(.html) file extended attributes. It seems your output file is generated using some other DCR(Not DCR you have recently edited).

The DCR file used for the generation is correct and if I check the html generated on the filesystem I'm able to see all the values updated.

I've tried also to browse an html file, after regenerated it, and I have the same issue. In preview mode the field are not updated but in the filsystem they are.

If the content on the filesystem is correct but you're seeing old content in the browser - that sounds like a caching issue, not a page regeneration issue.

Have you checked your browser settings to ensure that it *always* fetches the content anew and does *not* use caching?

I had something similar a few years back. For me it turned out to be a bad cachesize value in my iw.cfg file.

Any changes to your iw.cfg file lately?

I've had this happen some time ago also. I ended up deleting the "zz_..." temp file (usually located at the root of the workarea) and was able to get it to work again. You may have to do it from the server, if you don't see it from the UI.
