Admin not able to unlock files

Hi,

Users in Admin group are not able to unlock the files locked by someone else.
I find, the "unlock file" checkbox in "Files, Forms and Folders" for admin is checked. So I wonder why they are not able to unlock the files. Could someone help me out with it?

The group might be called "Admin" but it might not have TS admin role.
Check user permissions in branch level. If they have the default TS admin role then they should be able to unlock. If they have custom admin role then you might want to verify that the custom role has "unlock" operation.

I don't understand your description. is this in CCPro or CCSTD?
Do you see the "unlock" menu item in the action menu grayed out?

The user has the TS Admin role. The user has Admin permission in the branch level too.And the Unlock option is not grayed out. When the user tries to unlock, it throws an error message saying "Permission Denied".

What type of file are they trying to unlock? DCR? regular or generated file?

What version of TeamSite are you in now?
Did you check the logs for what they show for this error? Try to check in some other workarea too.
