Workflow with multiple successors and the WebDesk
mason
We have a workflow that has multiple successors for certain steps. For example, at one step the edits can be approved and deployed or the edits can be rejected. In the TeamSite GUI, the two options show on the "Task Options" drop down menu. But the choices don't exist in the WebDesk interface. It shows a "Finish" action, which seems to take the first successor. Does anyone know if there's a way to configure multiple successor choices to show with the WebDesk?

When you click "finish" in webdesk, you should get a task transition dialog that contains a drop-down of the transition choices and a transition comment field. The successor option is chosen here, in the drop-down list.

That seems kind of odd. Why is there an extra step? Why not just provide the successors? Makes no sense to me to make it a 2-step process. That's one thing our customers do not like about TeamSite - too many clicks to get you from here to there.

Thanks for the info - the drop-down menu was right there with all the successor choices. I guess I was looking for it before the finish!
