Greetings All,I am new to Mediabin. The architecture is going to support 5 million + assets and every year 1 million assets are to be added. For this we have planned to increase 1TB of space every year. We dont have any deletion/purging of asset process defined.Now please guide me to make this big implementation 1. What is the architecture should I follow. Should I install mediabin in parallel servers.2. After the installation is down what kind of testing should I carry out for performance, load issues. I want the system should not crash after the ingestion starts.CheersRashmiRanjan

Virage installation is completely different from older versionsOracle supported Virage MB is not yet released
The two different clients ( web / RIA) uses different conceptsWeb client still using folder structure while the RIA uses collectionsThere are lots of difficulties in sharing the data in between these And both having it’s on advantage and disadvantages
There are many ways you can install MediaBin , the options can discuss with the Tech Support / , it also depend on your lic type .The system is capable of handlingmillions of assets , but the performance is based on so many factors , like /h/w, networking , type of assets , search , other …etc
