XSLT and Perl

I know from the Knowledge base that if anyone wants to implement XSLT they cannot implement Perl and Vice Versa, because the configuration applies to all the Data-Types for just any implementation. Is it possible to implement both on different Data-Types? Is this functionality in newer versions of TeamSite?

What are you really trying to accomplish ?

Can you use TPLs with 7.1 ? Sure. The only caveat is if you use non-OS users, then you cannot use TPLS

Sorry Andy, My question was vague. According to KB article

"when you set the XSLT PT compiler at the global level as given below:
"

Is there a way to set this for just one datatype and rest i want to do it in regular perl.

What KB are you referring to ?

I have used TPL and XSLT on the same branch before, but that sounds like the KB says it won't work

If you read the FormsPublisher Developer's Guide manual (instead of just the KB article) you'll see that you can set the 'ptcompiler' globally (as shown above) or at the data-type level:[html]
