Hi There

I was trying to do a substring with the results of $CONTEXT{fileDal.root} variable in xslt.

something like this

$CONTEXT{fileDal.root}

It is not printing the values. It is taking the textual value ($CONTEXT{fileDal.root}) instead of the value itself.

Any ideas as to whether this logic will work...

The tokens get evaluated seperately...

It's not like an xsl variable...

It woudn't work...

yes, tokens are replaced post tranformation.

you can use an external to inject the data into the xml that is used for transformation.
