Looking for a good calendar in templating

TS 6.7.2

Hi, I've found numerous Calendar/date picker programs as I've searched through the forums. However, none of them seem to work within replicants. Does anyone know of a good calendar that works in replicants?

Or does anyone know how to easily implement this one ( http://devnet.interwoven.com/forums_vb/showthread.php?t=18953) in a replicant?

I was able to get the calendar to work in replicants nicely by adding the following javascript

1) Event to monitor when new replicants are being added:

IWEventRegistry.addItemHandler("/content/location/facility/schedule", "OnReplicantAdded", setFacReplicant);

2) A function to add a new calendar handler to the newly added replicant.

function setFacReplicant(item) {
var pathVal = item.getName();
var finalPath = pathVal + '/calendar';

IWEventRegistry.addItemHandler(finalPath, "onCallout", calendar);

}

I have no problems whatever using identical Calendar code for either single item or replicants.
You normally register Replicant Container Events (callout or otherwise) only once. If done correctly it
will work for all Replicants.

Without looking at your code it is impossible to tell what your problem is - but it is definitely your problem.
Try the following DCT sample As Is, it illustrates Calendar usage for replicants.

I think you'll need your own Calendar for that.

The Calendar in my sample is part of the TS GUI. Just like in any other GUI Component, rendition language is
determined by the TS Server Locale, see Administration Guide for details. You can change the Locale but
you can not run same TS Server Instance concurrently in multiple Locales, it must be one.

Sure, you can take a look at "calendar_init.js" and corresponding "calendar.jsp" Widget, see how it all works and
if you can hack it deeper. Hack is hack though, you are on your own. Alternatively you can adjust one of the Calendars
from this Forum (I remember couple by Robert Huffstedtler and Greg Zevin) or use your own and do what you need.
