TinyMCE fullscreen plugin alternative

I'm running TS 7.1 and the TinyMCE fullscreen plugin is not supported, ( even though it gets installed!)
According to support version 7.3 still does not support this plugin.

We have users who complain about the size of the text box area but enlarging it then causes other issues for replicants that have a large text box area.

Does anyone have any other suggestions about a full screen option for the TinyMCE plugin?

Are you talking about TinyMCE within DCTs or within SitePublisher Components (textarea datum)?

You could use a cgi-callout to open up a new window where you use TinyMCE, then post back the data on submit.

The question was for both DCTs and within SitePublisher Components, as we are trying to give the users a standard set of buttons.

On clicking a custom plugin button I invoke a new window that invokes TinyMCE in a larger window.
On saving I post the data back, so I post it back into the textArea1?

I can't speak for LiveSite, but you should be able do this pretty easily.

Look in the TeamSite FormsPublisher Developers Guide under the Using Callouts section for an example. Adding TinyMCE should be pretty easy.

Here's an example html with TinyMCE to get you started. Place it in your iwhome/httpd/iw directory (or some sub under there where you store your custom files) and call it test.html.
