Generate ASPX Pages From SitePublisher

Hello,

I am attempting to generate .aspx files from SitePublisher .page files. I am assuming that I have to create a new custom Page Type and associated Layout Type(s). I believe I have done so but I am still not seeing the Page Type show up within the Page Type drop down within the New Page dialog within TeamSite.

I followed this article as a start point:

I copied the files to the specified locations and restarted the TeamSiteUI and still no luck. I also tried running the build.bat without any luck.

I've attached the pagetype-config.xml and aspx-layout-page.xsl files (I added .txt extensions so they could be uploaded).

Does anyone have any ideas why my custom Page Type isn't showing up in the drop down list?

HI berlin1525,

Please check the logging when you run build.bat file, is it showing all the xsl files that you are changing while you build toolkit?
Post that reset the IW server it would pick the layouts freshly created.

Please check if the build is successfully completed. I have seen at times the build is partially success and it will cause the issue.
Please let me know about the build result.

Custom page type is used for only define your own page standar like HTML1.0 ,XHTML 1.1 transistional etc...

Fixed layout are used for defining the layout these two file doesn't help in generating different types of extenstions.Check support site for solution already they had given

we can achieve it by extending the OOTB com.interwoven.livesite.model.page.PostRenderingProcessor class.

Do you have any updated info on how to generate aspx pages using sitepublisher? We have to do the same as we will not be having livesite runtime to render the pages.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not at the moment. For a workaround we exported to HTML and had IIS render HTML pages using the PageFactory module (same one that renders ASPX pages).

If you have any luck please post to this thread. I would love to see how this is accomplished.
