URL command to generate from a DCR

I was wondering is there a URL command (TeamSite 672), to support the generation of a file from a DCR. I need to override the default generate in FormsPublisher. In the past I've used a Call Server to a CGI to generate by script, but now I'd like to upgrade it to a URL command, if possible. I can't seem to find one, does anyone know a way?

AFAIK there is nothing out of the box. You still have to create your own CGI, JSP, Servlet and whatnot.

Depending on how you plan to invoked this customized mechanism, there are tricks to transparently
*redirect* OTB Preview / Generate there, etc. Send me a pm if interested

Yes, XSLT could be an option, but overhead as we're currently using TPL. I've got some code which works via call server, but was wondering if there was a dirtier way to generate, using perl based TPL using a URL command etc.
