...On a possibly related note does a 7.2 license exist? The license generator only goes up to 7.1.
TeamSite does not require a license for the installation. After the complimentary period of 48 hours or after its first restart, the TeamSite server will require a valid license. The TeamSite license file must be named TS.lic, and it must reside in a readable location on the system that hosts the TeamSite server. The default location for the TeamSite license file is as follows:Linux/Solaris: iw-home/etcWindows: iw-home\etc
Thanks for the responses.
ping servername does it respond: NO (neither from the server nor a network workstation)Ping IP does it respond: Yes (from both the server and the network workstation)
http://localhost/iw-cc/command/iw.ccpro.filesys (successful from the VM's browser)http://IPADDRESS/ :NO (neither from the server nor a network workstation)http://servername/ :NO (neither from the server nor a network workstation)
I was aware that localhost is tied to 127.0.0.1 which is why I found the problem puzzling as we gave Teamsite the servername during install. I note that pinging the name of the VM whilest connected to the VM it still can not be resolved. Would the install default to localhost if it could not resolve the servername provided? We tried changing the port from 80 to 82 in iwwebd.conf (and yes, we added :82 to the URL when we then tried to connect) but that didn't work either.
Can connect via terminal services using the IP but not the server name.
Our install appears to accept the 7.1 license (no errors in the log).
New info: we've just tried the install again on another Windows 2008 64Bit virtual machine with the same result.
it looks like Apache can`t resolve the client ip's::1 - - [12/Aug/2010:13:55:04 -0400] "GET /iw-cc/command/iw.ui HTTP/1.1" 404 398 0 -
the ::1shoud be an ip address
Hi I am working with boggle on thisThe server can ping itself resolving the proper IPwe can access the server via network but for some reason the Apache does not work over the network, But on the machine via remote desktop Yes it does. Also IIS works over the network. I did the change on httpd.conf and iwwebd.conf. correct me if I am wrong but I think that httpd.conf is not used by apache.Is there anything about IP V6 versus IP V4?????
This is the same issue that we got and this workshttp://devnet.interwoven.com/forums_vb/showthread.php?t=33096&forumid=11&highlight=apache+server+2008Thanks all
