Regarding Modified By on a files in Teamsite

Hi,

I had files in a workarea showing ModifiedBy as root always it is not showing the people names who had modified them.
how do i workaround this one.

What version of TeamSite (5.5.2 SP1?) on what platform (presumably Solaris - but always worth specifying)?

Are you looking at the files within the GUI or through the file system interface? If through the GUI - do the files look like they are owned correctly when viewed through the file system interface?

Is it only some files or all files?

ownership of files is fine but modified by is giving as root.

Are you running some kind of virus scan program or other app that is accessing the files and "touching" them?
