In TinyMce , set the initial-dir location for insert/edit Image Navigation

Hi,

external-editor="tinymce"

TS DCT->Using TinyCme Editor -> on clicking Insert Image button in TinyMce editor ->pop up window open which have Browse button -> clicking on Browser Button take us on TeamSite location (main/.../.../WORKAREA/work/) for navigation of images or docs.
I want to set this Navigation Location (initial-dir) should start with for example - main/.../.../WORKAREA/work/..../..../..../upload.

I am using TeamSite 7.1.0 And Tinycme is one which default ship with TS 7.1.0

I suggest you customize that Button on TinyMCE for your required functionality. There is no OOTB functionality here if thats what you are looking for.

I have made some changes in one js file kept under tinymce sub folder. But my changes was not reflected. Should I need to do anything (like restart teamsite etc. etc.) to make my js change work ?

If anyone have any idea ten please sugguest.

Is your added JS even working when clicked on a Button? Post you JS snippet on the the button you have set this for?

Somehow I am successfully done this.

But now the question is, this will affect all the templates, does any way with which I can control, means this initial dir will setup for any particular DCT (contenttype) and for rest of the content type initial dir will be default one?

You need to define different custom config name and define that in your DCT.
