Deployment of files with EA using File list deployment

Hi ,
We are using file list deployment for deploying a set of files from one content store to another. The EA of the files are not getting deployed . I went through the PDFs , which says EA can be deployed using area comparison deployment. Can we deploy EA using file list deployment?? If yes , How are we deploy the EA??

Any help will be appreciated . Thanks in advance.

You have to set "applyExtAttr" attribute of the <targetTeamsite> Tag to "yes"

Try re-reading the manuals - search for all occurrences of "applyExtAttr", read that section of the manual carefully and then look at your configuration file carefully; repeat for each occurrence of the search string.

As an additional hint - consider the source and target specifications and what aspect of either would allow (or not allow) EAs to be transferred.
