need a solution to generate a unique id

i have attached my dcr file. I need to deploy the dcr to database. the table design is as follows:
Id: Primary key(unique id for each row)
Name: varchar(50)
Alias: varchar(50)
ParentID: comes from id. (by applying some logic to Id,in order to know who is the immediate parent)

say for e.g i thought of giving ids to
Personal Finance:1,Abc:2,Small Business:3
so... Everyday Banking should have parent id:11,Checking:111,Solid Checking:1111 ...i.e. string concatenation.
whereas Solid Checking card has parent id:1112,..i.e. nodes on the same level wil have numeric concatenation.

in the same way...
Business banking:33, business checking:333

can anybody suggest any solution? or an alternative logic?

Main problem is how to get the primary ids for each sitemap(considering the fact that we do not what is level of depth). the parentId genration can be done in backend.

I need to write the event "OnReplicantAdded" for each level. Please suggest a solution to this.
