My 7.3.1 attempts

First attempts crashed and burned. Tried to upgrade 7.2.1 and 6.7.2 to 7.3.1. Only then did I check the rev of Linux and my RHL 4.7 was not supported.

So I made a new install on a RHL 5.4 and have the UI up and running. CC_Pro and STD are fine. The new TeamSite UI and the WFM UI were never able to load correctly

Got the same nipper, when i tried to do same from 6.7.2 to 7.3.1 RHEL4.7 not supported and later installed rhel 5 and WFM UI was unable to load. all time i get 404. if u resolved it plz post steps what u have done

Even though my issue was on Windows - I saw something of the same error message there - try running these commands and see if they help any (hopefully these aren't Windows-specific):

Note - in my case, on my virtual W2K3 system - I find I have to wait a considerable amount of time after rebooting the system before all the services are up. First I can login to CCPro but not the Admin UI or new TeamSite UI - then I wait about 10 minutes or so and I can get to all the UIs - so be patient after doing these things - it may just be a lagging system (hardly what I'd consider progress, but ...)

Yea I saw that. Need "lin" for Linux, but I get an exception, no clue what or where:

Do we need the DB up at all times now ?

Caused by: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The TCP/IP connection to the host sql2005, port 1433 has failed. Error: "connect timed out. Verify the connection properties, check that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port, and that no firewall is blocking TCP connections to the port.".

And my answer to that question is yes, I was able to register when the DB was up.

Quite slow.

And the 7.3.1 TeamSite GUI does pop up. WFM looks like it too.

Adam's commands helped, DB has to be running. Use the correct OS when running iwirregister, "win", "lin" or "sol"
