How to call back a cgi task?

What's the proper way to call back a cgi task? I want the cgi script to display a msg and return to the workflow after the user click the close button. Is there a sample cgi script showing how we can callback a cgi task? Thx.

Perhaps there are other issues. I assume everything you want to display on your CGI form displays properly, it just doesn't "finish". If you could attach your script, it might make it easier to help you debug it.

I am just testing a simple cgi to return a simple msg. I was able to call back the cgi task, if I use iwcallback function. However, the callback close the cgi msg windown right the way. I changed my code and used CallBack() function as following, however, the workflow does not call back.

my mistake... I removed "my" from following statement and it works:

my $task_id = $cgi->{form}{task_id};

Sorry, I don't understand what you're talking about. Do you want to callback but not close the window? If you could clearly define what you want to do, that is always helpful.
