Handling Content Life Cycle in TeamSite

Hi,

I would like how the content life cycle is/can be handled in TeamSite.

Ex: I publish a page generated through a DCR. I want that to be archived or removed after a certain date/certain number of days in the WebServer. How can We accomplish it.

For content archival or removal of content from the webserver, you can use created date or publish date of the DCR or expiration date set as EA while creation.

For example- You want to delete the DCR after 1 year and put it in the archive branch. Then you can create script or code which will check if the DCR has been created before 1 year by using some logic for checking the expiration date.

If the file has been created before 1 year, delete it from the current workarea. Delete all it's references from the database and put that DCR in the archival branch, so that you can again deploy it if needed.

Set your script as scheduler or Crone job, so that it will run on everyday and report or send an email to Admin, this content has been deleted.

Usually, I do checking for expiration date of DCR before 1 month, 15 days, 5 days and 1 day, then send email on every check to the Admin, so that if admin don't want to delete the DCR, he can extend DCR expiration date.

This is called "customizations" - TeamSite is a framework, not a solution. You need to design and implement your solutions within the framework. How you do so is usually dependent upon your particular organization's requirements and thus not something that "just is". This is the kind of thing that TeamSite Developers do, and the more experience they have, the more options they can present.

Adobe CQ has an inbuilt feature which can be used directly.
I only wanted to know if there is any way something similar is present in TeamSite which needs a little customization.

I was thinking of Customized option but wanted to check if there is anything inbuilt that can be utilized.

No, there is nothing built-in to do this for you.
Instead, as I indicated before, TeamSite provides a wide array of tools that you can use to assemble what you want based on your particular requirements.
