Unable to invode formAPI

Hi,

We have recently installed TS 6.7.1 SP1 Patch5. But the javascripts (FORMAPI) is not getting invoked from datacapture.cfg. Is ther any configuration change I need to do to enable formAPI.

FormAPI should be enabled by default. Check for the javascript code which is executing and look for any javascript functions which may have been deprecated and is causing problem. You can use alerts and see where the actual problem is.

Try with something very basic.

There is a "Hello World" example in formAPI guide. Try that.

Migrateduser

Not sure of you skills, so we'll start simple. Put the following inside your datacapture.cfg.

[PHP]
<script>
<br>alert("hello");<br>
</script>
[/PHP]

Or if you call a js file externally, then put this after the "function init() {" line.

[PHP]
alert("hello");
[/PHP]

If you get an alert, then it's working and you have something else wrong in your FormAPI code.
