DBI compatability with PERL

HI,

Is DBI 1.38 is compatible with perl 5.8.8

Issue:
DBI object version 1.38 does not match $DBI::VERSION 1.41 at /apps/interwoven/iw-home/iw-perl/lib/DynaLoader.pm line 249. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /apps/interwoven/iw-home/iw-perl/site/lib/DBI.pm line 252. Compilation failed in require

When i try to connect DB i am getting the above error. Autonomy has suggested to rebuild DBI module.

Can anybody confirm DBI 1.38 is compatible with perl 5.8.8.

TS version: 6.7.2 linux 64 bit
DB: Oracle 10G

You might be running into a 64-bit / 32-bit incompatibility issue, but that's just one of a series of possible guesses.

You could try running

iwperl -MDBI -e 'DBI->installed_versions'

to see what kind of output you get.

Looking at perldoc DBI::Changes I see:

DBI version with TS 6.7.2 or later should be good since I don't believe any of the core or CPAN modules that ship with iwperl have changed in any of the releases since then.
