Livesite 7.2.0 sitemap problem

Hi there,
We are using TS 7.2.1 and LiveSiteDisplayServices 7.2.
When we change/add a node in sitemap we see the updated sitemap in the preview in TS. But when we deploy it to LSDS we don't see the changes.

We are using the standard component with the external call to interwoven Java class. com.interwoven.livesite.external.impl.LivesiteSiteMap method getSiteMap

When we restart the LSDS service we see the sitemap with the changes. So it must be something regarding to caching. But we have caching disabled on the LiveSite machine.

So does anybody have an idea how to solve or further investigate this?

for startes you runtime and sitepub versions need to be the same.

you should turn on debug logging for cache invalidation. there should be a predefined section in the log 4j file.

and by "turning off caching" what do you mean?

When I said TS 7.2.1 and LSDS 7.2
I meant TS 7.2.1.0 and LSDS 7.2.1.0.
So they are on the same version

I have changed the following keys in the WEB-INF\classes\cache.ccf. I thought this was the way to disable caching.
jcs.default.elementattributes.MaxLifeSeconds=1 it was :-1
jcs.default.elementattributes.IsEternal=false it was : true

In which log 4j file do I need to change the caching logging?

you have a couple of different caches and for Component we control the TTL programtically based on the component cache settings so the default setting will actually be ignored. By setting this you disable All caching which is not good as you will reload page geometry, and component stylesheets on every request.

a better way to control it is to set the following to 0 in the component cache only.

jcs.region.component.cacheattributes.MaxObjects

the log4j file is under the web-inf/classes folder.

Thanks for your help. I have found the log4j file and made changes in it.
But I still cant solve the problem.
