Hi, I want to know how we can check manually for a file that is in Workarea but not in staging

do a compare to staging. The compare button is located at the top. Go to the workarea you want to compare then click the button. It will list the files that are either modified(in staging but different) and also the files that are in the workarea but not present in staging.

another option is if you have just a single file that you want to compare you can click the checkbox next to the file/directory and then hit compare to narrow your comparison.

If you need to compare against something other than staging, you can use the Compare Any option from the file menu
