Issue with Generated Pages

HI everybody,
We had been migrated from TS 6.5 to TS 6.7. i.e. we are facing a issue with some generated pages(i.e. aspx format). When we select a generated page and clcick the edit button then the dcr should get displayed but it is getting downloaded to my local machine as a text file.

For some generated pages the extended attributes(EA) are exists but for some it doesnt contain the EA. What to do now? Please suggest me, as i was new with this concept.

You can make a script using iwextattr CLT for that directory and this script check all the pages for EA , if not found the using iwextattr it will set the EA.

Apparently you've lost some Metadata during migration. We have no way of knowing why that happened.
It depends on what exactly did you do to migrate TS Repository, if something went wrong etc...

In any case, at this point it probably has an academic interest only. Either follow Vip777 advise
or simply do *bulk* re-generation.

You have not told us how you migrated your content.

If you just copied it from one branch to another, yes you lost your EAs. If you followed the proper migration procedure you should not have.

I am moving files like downloading the existing dcr file from the older TS version and using the import button i am uploading it.So while checking the properties of the dcr's it doesn't contian any extended attribute.
Proceeding in this does it create any probs?

Obviously it does. Yes you will lose your EAs with that method.

Try setting up OpenDeploy to deploy from one to another, make certain you use the flag to maintain EAs.

Or you can find the script that will migrate EAs from one server to another.
