7.3.1 OD Install "Publish Events" option advice?

Tim__D

I just installed TS 7.3.1 and accepted the default setting to "publish events". I am not planning nor do I have a license for "ReportCenter"

What does this do?
Do I now need a reporting database?
Do have to configure this manually?

The new docs have different install steps spread out across OD TS etc.. very confusing.

Was this the cryptic way to enable DAS?
