Display Metadata capture items by branch

Is there a way to display different things in the metadata capture screen? I would like to have certain metadata items show up for one branch and different items for another. I don't want to have to display all item for every branch. Is this possible? We are running 6.7.2. Thanks in advance

are you familiar with using FormAPI in FormPublisher? you can use FormAPI in metadata capture form.

I suggest you look for information about metadata-rules.cfg
