OD 551 receiver issue on AIX 433

Hi again,

I recently installed OD 551 receiver on an AIX4.3 server. This server already had OD receiver 4.5.2 running with no issues, deployments run daily to this box.

Initial deploys with the new receiver showed the OD551 base server (on NT4) was communicating Ok with the receiver even if the deploy was not completed successfuly.

Therefore, I installed the service pack 2 to the receiver. After this install was successful, I was then unable to get the base server and receiver to communicate.

Error on the base server log file is;
" Read attribute from receiver failed, got null "
Error on the receiver log file is;
" Could not find matching OpenDeploy client "

Could it be that as receiver is not running as root the service pack restored some settings back to their default value?

I have already tried the following;
. Restart OD on base server and receiver
. Change host attribute values to IP addresses on receiver server config files

Attached zip of relevant files on receiver and base server.
Any ideas much appreciated.

I cannot remember which versions of AIX are supported by which versions of OpenDeploy off the top of my head (and don't have time to look it up right now) - but I believe if you applied SP2 to the Receiver you also need to apply SP2 to the Base Server
