How to re-configure the installer

Hi,

TS731 @Win2k8

I am installing ts731 but it stops with an exception (string out of bounds), which I think is due to some invalid input for the jdbc-string or so.

So I want to re-run the installer and modify the input values. But if I re-start it it does NOT offer the option to correct the input but instead continues the installation which results in the same exception. :-)

So the question is: how can I force the installer to ask me to re-enter the input?
Or, how can I de-install my current environment and then re-install with new values?

Check with Support - but if this was a fresh installation to begin with you could probably just wipe out the iwinstall directory and start from there. Although on Windows you may have to clean out the registry too. Probably best to check with Support first.

Contact support and wait for the rest of my life?

I stopped & deleted all teamsite services, removed relevant folders like iw-home, etc and renamed some folders under iwinstall/private. Then I restarted the installer which was then tricked into starting new with the install. Now it is running smooth.

Glad that worked - that was my alternative suggestion to contacting support - I just didn't know if you were working from an otherwise fresh installation. If you had a lot of legacy content and customizations Support probably would have been the better solution.
