Timeout between Web Daemon and Servlet Engine

When attempting to bulk tag large numbers of files, we are getting the classic error:
"The Interwoven Web Daemon was unable to contact the Interwoven Servlet Engine. The Interwoven Servlet Engine may be down, or running on an unexpected host or port. "
When we do smaller batches, everything is fine, but with larger numbers this consistently happens. Everything is up and running
I am assuming this is some sort of timeout that is being hit, when the daemon requests the info from the servletd engine.. Its taking too long for the servlet engine to respond so the web daemon assumes its down and shows the error.
Is this timeout setting something that can be modified? Increased? If so, how?
