Outdated workflow's config

Hi All,

We have couple custom configurations(2 branches) for same workflow, however once we update the workflow, it will become Outdated.

we have deleted the "outdated" and reconfigure for each branch.now for one branch configurable variable are coming and 2nd brach those are not coming.

is that any way to make it back to custom,

Teamsite 7.2
WFM
OD 7.2

No need to delete each time and reconfigure again. Please go through manuals, It has specified the steps to update config and republish.

We have configured workflow for few folders in one branch and created custom config under the below path

/iwadmin/main/workflowModels/WORKAREA/iw-wa/Config/Basic_Workflow_config/default/main/content
/default/main/content is a branch which is having folders

Available_models.xml configuration
---------------------------------
[html]

[/html]

custom_initiation has been modified with required values .

Now my issue is custom variables are not coming in this workflow.

Could you tell me any other configuration is required?

I think you're mixing two things:

I don't recall all the details about the latter, but you need the former if you expect to tailor the appearance of custom variables within the instantiation form, and the latter is used to customize default values for variables on a branch-by-branch basis (which only works under certain conditions based on how the model is configured in the available_models.xml file)My guess is that you need to verify all the different pieces are set up correctly - but I'm not sure how to guide you in doing so without actually being able to have my hands on the implementation (which I don't expect to do via the forums anyway)

Sorry for the late reply. As Ghoti said, the workflow modeler has two different customization configuration file. First one is Global One and second one will be branch specific driven.

Branch specific driven customization can be accessed only that particular branch. My advise is here please go through the documentation and samples before starting implementation to understand the basic things.

Whenever the modification happens the outdated configuration need to be updated(Document has those steps)
