Hi Allwe have created a new role customUser role like teamsite default admin, editor role, now we want our user to be logged in as customUser role, what change is required to have my user to logged in as that new role created.
yes Ghoti, i already read manuali wanted to have iwckrole CUSTOM_role testid >> NO.i was looking for YES result for this command, we have CUSTOM_role role already defined also we have assigned this user as this custom role for a branch, it did not work.Thanks for your help
hmmm we need logged in role to be assigned for a user which could be retrieved using iwckrole command
If you just want to check what roles are available to them - regardless of the vpath - try: iwaccess all-roles-of-user userid (on Windows make sure that userid is fully-qualifed with DOMAIN\)If you want to see what roles are associated for them for a given vpath - try: iwaccess roles-of-user branch-vpath -user userid (note that it is the branch-vpath - not a workarea vpath)Neither of these have anything to do with your explicit request about having them "login" with that role.
