Is this possible, has anyone tried to replace VFE with TinyMCE in Teamsite 6.5 SP 3?

Yes, What is the issue you are seeing? Is there any Problem?

Haven't implemented yet, just wanted to see if it can be done in versions lower than 6.7. or if there are major showstopper issues to doing so. So you have done this successfully?

I am sorry, No you cannot do it in TS 6.5 tinyMCE i have not Implemented. But we did other Third party tool which was running successfully. If a tinyMCE or third party text editor and could make it work in an ordinary texarea. You can implement the same thing in TeamSite too.

I've successfully integrated TinyMCE v3.x in TS6.5 as a proof of concept, which never made it to production use (client upgraded to 6.7.2). I'm not sure why you wouldn't just upgrade as well at this point...

echo Rick's point. It can be done. It is not trivial (I did it with help for 5.5).

Since you are working on a release that has been (or will be soon) EOL, just upgrade.
