Enter key not working for dropdown lists in 7.2.1

Hi there,
This issue would look weird and not sure if its only me who is facing this issue Smiley Very Happy

I have been facing this issue for all my DCT across the content stores for 7.2.1. So, I created a very very basic datacapture.cfg to isolate the issue :

Issue:
If i try to select a value from a SELECT dropdown list using UP/DOWN arrow and press "ENTER" key, the option doesn't get selected. But yes, can use TAB to select the option and move to next field.

Any help is greatly appreciated !!!

For what it's worth. Same thing occurs in my 7.2.1 setup.

I tried using JQuery and them some custom JavaScript to capture key strokes and override this, but it didn't work. Looks like the enter key is already overridden higher up in the document.

Finally i heard back from Support on this issue, Here is what they have to say :

Moving forward, we have checked on TS65Sp3 and this is working fine. However, TS672 onward do not have such feature any more. Furthermore, from our check with internal team, the teamsite architecture have changed from TS65Sp3 onward.

We have understood that this is important to your company and we can file FR for this and please note that Technical Support has no control over Feature Requests and cannot provide a guarantee that the Feature will be implemented.

So, it doesnt look this was ever included since TS 6.7.
