Does anyone know how to list all private files in a workarea?

I have written a script to crawl all files and then run iwprv -g on each of them.

Most branches have hundreds of thousands of files. The method that I'm using is inefficient and not practical.

I'm just wondering if there is a way to list all private files as fast as listing all locked files with iwlistlocks command.

In certain cases you can use "iwcmp" and filter out entries with the p[+] Status.

Unfortunately, that'll work only if the Private Files/Directories in question are present in both Vpath1
and Vpath2, otherwise "Private" entry is ignored. Among other things it means that this way you will
not find "Autoprivate" components by comparing to STAGING, etc

With hundreds of thousands of files, what method would you think would be practical and efficient? How long does a perl script take to run through your workarea? This is what I've done in the past and it is likely the best and most reliable method.

I don't remember if I ever filed a feature request for this (we have iwlistmod, but not iwlistpriv) - you should probably file it and post the FR # here for others to add their organizations (and then, maybe, it will get created) - until then, crawling through the files and directories running iwprv -g (or CSSDK equivalent) is probably the best way.
