Metadata Sceen - Ending wf on Cancel button

I have the metadata come up as part of our publish workflow... When users click on the cancel button the workflow doesn't get killed but stay on the system....Is there a way to cancel the associated workflow when user clicks on the cancel button?

Probably not with the OOTB CGI for tagging content - the Cancel button there is solely for the purpose of canceling the CGI window.
