Switching context between http and https

Hi All,

I am facing a problem regarding login functionality; I have created a login component and placed in the home page of my site. We need to secure user validation through https. When we are moving from http to https then losing all the context information.

Is there any way to do the context switching between http and https without losing the application context or session information?
