No available presentation templates
Markandeyulu
Hi I migrated all the dcr's , tpl's from a development server on windows to a unix production sever.
I migrated all the dcr's and tpl's and then copied the templating.cfg
now there are some peculiar problems i am facing..
out of the 25 templates i have created more than 20 are working properly but the other 3 or 4 ....gives the following emssage when i am trying to generate new htmls pages.
" there is no availble presentation template"
i checked the templating.cfg and i checked for any case errors...etc but of no use..
can any one suggest what it could be..

Hmmm...
I don't think this'll work because you say that 20 of your templates are working just fine, but it could be worth a shot.
Check out the "File-->Properties" of one of the templatized HTML files you edit that is causing your problems. Is there an extended attribute set for the key "TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryPT" ??
If there isn't, then is there a key set for that on some of the HTMl problems that
aren't
giving you problems?
Also, are you having problems creating a new DCR and generating HTML based off that new record? Or is it just a re-generation problem for existing HTML pages?

Its only when i am trying to generate or do a preview..
I am able to create new dcr's ...edit them and then ...etc etc....but then it is all when i am trying to do a preview.... ..can't comprehend what the problem could be..

In the absence of seeing your environment - here are some suggestions for things to check:
Verify that there are indeed presentation templates defined for those DCTs in the templating.cfg
Verify that the names of those presentation templates are spelled correctly and that the presentation templates do, in fact, exist in the workarea/templateadata/category/type/presentation/ folder
Verify that access to the presentation directory and templates is correct / accessible
Verify that any limiting regex's in the templating.cfg are still valid/correct on the other system
Hopefully one or more of those will lead to a resolution.
