Can we use SPAR in cross platform ?

Can we use SPAR file from linux to windows or vice versa ?

Generally speaking, yes - especially if you are playing by the rules!

But it is theoretically possible to include platform specific assets or references which wont work.

I'm thinking here for example about Perl code (wash my mouth out with soap!) or shell scripts for forms or workflows with platform specific functionality...

Having said that, these examples would have to be installed outside of the SPAR process as it doesn't cater for them, so you'd have to work out what to do with them anyway.
