how to apply filters in opendeploy

when apply filters in opendeploy ,actually what is going to give in subpath,

am confusing lot ,is there any relationship between area path and subpath.

plz help me out,

Yes there is.

"subPath" attribute value should be a relative Path to the deployment source location. Source
location is combined area attribute + pathSpecification element. More often than not you'll have
simply "." as pathSpecification path. In such cases Filters' subPath attribute should be a relative
path to the area.
