duplicate datum appearing after component submit

Hi,

We migrated the components and pages from old Teamsite environment ton new through following step.

1. Migrate component with EA and submit
2. Migrate pages with EA and submit.
3. apply get latest component to all pages
4. Re submit the pages.

There is a component which has a group replicant. And there is a page refering to that component having some values in replicant.

Now we edited the component and insert blank space and submit the component.

Updated page with latest component

Result: The old replicant with values were retained in the page which we wanted and now the new empty group replicant was also appearing along with old replicant.

Is there a way to get rid of the new group replicant appearing?
