generate a page from one branch into another branc

Hi,
i'm trying to generate a page from a dcr in the branch a into another branch b. in the generate page browse button the different branches are not getting listed ..it shows only the root directories in branch a.

Any immediate help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

The standard sort of thing to do is generate into the same workarea as the DCR.

If you were able to generate into another branch I can't imagine it would work if you try and 'Edit' the generated page as it wouldn't know where to find the DCR.

That said, no doubt you could generate an additional copy somewhere by putting appropriate code in your PT.

The real question is why you would want to do this? Perhaps you should take a step back and consider your approach?
