Hi we have an issue, we have a workflow which works fine but when ever the other group takes owner ship of the task , the initiater gets the approve button active so he is able to approve or reject the wf Normally this should not happen, can any one suggest any idea why this is happening and how we can resolve this issue ...Abhishek Teamsite 7.1 windows

May be I am looking a wrong place..
Job owners tend to have the ability to override general task assignments.
The way to prevent this is to explicitly set the job owner (or perhaps creator, but I think it's owner) to a master or service account (one that nobody logs in with).
