Prob in callserver in custom instantiation screen

Hi ,
im calling a call server in custom instantiation screen to retrieve the values from a perl and populate a dropdown list . The values are getting populated , The seleceted value in drop down list is stored in Config value for further manipulation in workflow . But when the call server is used , no value is being passed from custom_instantion screen to workflow. What might me the reason???

Did you declare the select-list field as a global job variable in the workflow model and reference it from the same variable?
