Sites folder takes a long time to open

Hi ,

We are using TS6.5 and LS2.2.1 the sites folder takes minimum a minute to open. When we investigate the server the CPU performance is maximum when sites folder is clicked,servletd.exe takes more usage.

Any Suggestions Please.

Upgrade. LS 2.2.1 is EOL

Check the logs, see if there is any information helpful there.

Thanks Nipper. I find no info related to this in the logs.
Is the slowness in content center when we navigate into the folders containing large number of files common in older versions of LS.

Other than Upgrade are there any other steps suggested

No clue about what is causing it. You can check the iw.cfg setting for the cache size, but I doubt that will help. Unlikely that you will see much help from A/I as that product is EOL (end of life), it was released circa 2005-2006

Without knowing what the branch sizes are, it is tough to tell. Check the Admin manual on how to set that.

Is the issue opening a specific site folder or the sites folder itself?

We're running 7.2.1 and had an issue opening one specific site folder while the others were okay. It was only our test machine and our solution was to delete the site and recreate it. We did find, prior to deleting the site, that the sitemap was corrupted somehow which may have been causing the issue but we're unsure.

Thanks Bowker ,for the clue that this may be due to the corrupted sitemap.The 'Sites' folder of the other sites seem to be a little faster compared to the one I have mentioned.
