Guessing you're talking about the SitePublisher sitemap file.

There are no URL commands or CLTs to help you manage the sitemap in code. However, it's just XML stored in the default.sitemap file for the site, so you can use XML manipulation libraries and/or XSLT to help you make modifications to it. Just know that you'll have to maintain that code on your own, because IWOV could change the underlying schema of the sitemap file at any time.

Hopefully they'll eventually extend the CSSDK with SitePub functionality...

Hi,
actually i have a similar problem. adding the entry to defaulte.sitemap is not the issue but how do we generate the nodeID ?

Any ideas will be appreachiated.

If you can guarantee that nodeID will be unique across any / all sites then you should be fine. You could tap into one of the OOTB classes (i.e. UniqueIDGenerator) to genrate your ID however these classes are NOT part of the exposed API and subject to change anytime.

Recommended and supported way of creating SiteMap nodes is through the UI.
