OK, I have a Solaris server at home (2 processors, 4 GB RAM, 100 GB disk, Solaris 10).I had TS 7.1 loaded (using a SQL server DB). Tried to upgrade, things seemed smooth, did the reboot, ran the post install job, it stayed for hours at 88% complete. No error logs changed or any useful information.Pretty much SOL at that point. I decided to manually uninstall TS. On Solaris it is not that hard (except you need to remove the iwovfs reference with smf).I reinstalled everything and the post install step failed (but at least did not hang). I rebooted and reran the installer to reinstall but it restarted the post reboot step and this time it completed. Next up was Admin console and CSSDK Soap. Those worked. So I think I am set, though I suspect I will be redoing everything because I want to download mysql and run TS with a local DB instead of having to start a PC.
Awesome Andy, Can I get VPN access to it?Thanks
If it did not heat up my office when I had it on, I would get a public IP and put it on the internet. I got it off ebay a year ago for about $100.
