TeamSite and Active Directory integration -?

We would like to restrict users that can be added to TeamSite to belong only to a specific Active Directory group.

We have created an entry within user_databases.xml. The config file is attached here as well.

TeamSite seems to be reading the config values - 'TeamSite Users' LDAP id entry is visible within TeamSite Administration console (when 'Add User' options are explored).

However, the TeamSite is not retrieving any users from AD group (search for users returns no values).

The Active Directory group seems to be properly configured. We have used JXplorer (Java Ldap browser) and confirmed ability to connect, to retrieve users, etc. Something within TeamSite prevents the TS and AD integration to work properly.

Would anyone have any suggestions or ideas?
