Hi,

I figured i dont have the CSSDK Client Installed and so was facing issues.
I need the cssdksoap.jar ...so, i would need help regarding where and how to get the CSSDK installer download....

TS version : 6.5
The server is on Solaris platform....but i am working by remotely accessing it from here thru windows XP.

Any pointers would be appreciated...

The CSSDK client installer is available on support site for download. However you can find all cssdk jar files available for your TeamSite version under iw-home/cssdk

Thanks. I got the required jar files.
But thr is another issue which i cant understand what is missing there.....

When i run my code , i get the factory object created successfully but when it goes to the code to get the Client object , it says :
"Source not found
The jar file cssdksoap.jar has no source attachment.
You can attach source by clicking below button "

The code snippet where this is occuring is :

CSClient client = factory.getClient(username, role, password, Locale.getDefault(), "cssdk", null);

It goes to the AxisFactory.java with this statement : AxisFactory.getClient , this is where it gets stuck Smiley Sad

Please help about what has happened here ........

Hi ,

CSSDK supports two factories
CSSOAPFactory---> This is to work if the client is on a remote machine and TS Server is running in another machine.

CSLocalFactory--> This should be used when both client and server are running the same machine.

For SOAP Factory,

please see the following properties in the properties file

com.interwoven.cssdk.factory.CSFactory=com.interwo ven.cssdk.factory.CSSOAPFactory
# use the machine name and HTTP port of the ContentServices SOAP server
serviceBaseURL=http://host:80
# default port is 80 where Apache is running in the TS Host

For LocalFactory,
com.interwoven.cssdk.factory.CSFactory=com.interwo ven.cssdk.factory.CSLocalFactory
cssdk.cfg.path=c:/iw-home/cssdk/cssdk.cfg

make sure set the PATH variable such that it can find the DLLs.

thanks for the reply...

i had set the properties correctly for the remote TS server but there were some crucial jar files missing after including which my code worked smoothly.
...so no issues as of now....
