We got X fired up on that Solaris (SPARC) box, and tried to install LSDS (7.2.1) using the GUI, but we get stuck with this message (see attached).
Error:
"unavailable for selection because it is not compatible with the host operating system"
Environment: SunOS cserver1 5.10 Generic_144488-17 sun4v sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise-T5220 Solaris

Well this is a supported env. If i were you, I would down load the LSDS package from the support site again and follow the installation instructions.
Sometimes the file you have downloaded can be not good.
You should have already had a support case running on this issue while you try my suggestion.

Also see the release notes for exact Solaris level and patch level. I have seen that when a certain patch that was required was not installed

Verified patches on OS and it has the latest ones.
Created a support case, let you know the response..

is there anything in the install logs in /tmp ?
Sometimes I find better information down there (though you have to search)

Got a response from Support.. all the target servers are installed on multiple zones..
"LSDS component installation only supports global zone on solaris 10 , multiple zones are not supported"
