Unable to generate output files in Teamsite. Getting error 'Error in PT compiling'

Hi,
I am working on a Teamsite environment (6.7.2) on unix.
I have created some templates (DCTs and PTs) and some DCRs.
When I try trying to generate output files, I get an error 'Error in PT compiling'.
From some of the previous threads on this error, it seemed to be an issue due to insufficient access (not having WRITE access).

But, I confirmed the accesses to my ID on the teamsite environment and found those ok. I have READ and WRITE access to all the required folders/files (i.e. .tpl file, DCR, output file location).

But, the error still occurs in spite of having proper accesses.

The presentation template code looks fine.
Just to ensure whether the error comes all the time. I did following:
- Created a new branch
- copied entire content (DCT, PT, DCRs) of the original branch to the new branch and submitted it.
- With the new branch, I attempted generating an output file and it succeeded. But, after that with the same PT and DCR (no code changes), when I tried to create another output file, it never worked.
Gave 'Error in PT compiling' for all the later attempts (evenif there was no code change to PT at all)

Can someone pl. help me resolve this issue?

TPLs do not work with non-OS LDAP users.

Pl. refer to the main explanation for what I tried.

Is it possible that for Non-OS users the generation of output files may sometimes work and sometimes may not?

I think the point is that you're venturing into an unsupported implementation, as specifically pointed out by the templating guide. There might be some cases where it works, but Autowoven specifically call out that you shouldn't even bother trying. Even if you're able to figure out the circumstances where it does work, you'll be putting some unnecessary constraints on your users or you'll have to have some crazy workaround to mess with the files as they're being generated. You should rethink your design rather than continuing down this path.
